SK Capital Partners, a private investment firm focusing on specialty materials, ingredients, and life sciences, has announced the successful closure of SKCP Catalyst Fund II. The Fund garnered a total committed capital of $800 million, exceeding its $750 million hard cap on Limited Partner commitments. Additionally, SK Capital contributed an extra $50 million to the Fund.
The firm’s investment process is applied uniformly across its entire portfolio, with two parts of the SK Capital fund family: Flagship and Catalyst. The Flagship strategy targets upper mid-sized and large companies, while the Catalyst strategy, established in 2019, focuses on lower middle market companies. With seven funds raised since its inception in 2007, SK Capital now manages over $7.8 billion in assets under both Flagship and Catalyst strategies.
